We made it to Beijing after a fifteen hour flight from Los Angeles and then another two and half hour flight from Guangzhou! God blessed us with a fairly good nights sleep on the plane! We will spend three nights here in Beijing seeing some of the sights in and around the city. Then we return to Guanzhou on Monday when we will pick up Joshua at 3:00 PM. We are fifteen hours ahead of California and only thirteen hours ahead of Arkansas. We were mistaken in our last phost when we said we would be seven-teen hours ahead of Arkansas.
It's hard to believe we have only three more nights sleep before we hold our Joshua for the fist time. Until then here are some photos from the first leg of our journey.

We are so excited for you, just like everyone else that loves you and has been praying. :-) What a blessing to "go" with you on this journey!
Joshua's birthday was something that really excited me as I read your postings, probably because our Josiah celebrates his 2nd on Nov. 16. This will be the first of many birthdays you will celebrate with Joshua, but probably one of those that will stand out forever in your minds. We will pray that it will be very special.
We love you and are praying for you and for Joshua as he awaits Mommy and Daddy.
Love,
Eric, Kim and Josiah
Finally! Your getting some grey in that beard! Now I dont feel so old. Happy Trails to you!
